Art Center

One of the objectives of education is to inculcate in students, the appreciation of beauty and to help them develop a sense of aesthetics. A lot of emphasis is placed on the Fine as well as the Performing Arts.

The art and craft and drawing and painting department at Emmanuel Mission School structured to initiate students in a multitude of expressionist media including pencil, pastels, crayons, clay and plaster.

Modules are taught using a variety of teaching and learning methods, including lectures, seminars and workshops. Students are often expected to prepare material for presentations in seminars. In practical projects, students carry out practical art work which functions as a basis for Art, Craft and Design Education. Students are provided with study packs for independent study modules.

Class Rooms

Classrooms are spacious where students have a reading corner, learning corner, and an experimenting corner to develop their curiosity. These are also well equipped to make them imaginative and resourceful.

Classrooms are distinctively designed for students of different age groups, keeping in mind their activities, priorities, likes and dislikes, to make learning an enjoyable experience.

Special Labs are designed for the students to experience the real joy of the subjects as well as to develop a keen interest in them.


The Library has a voluminous stock of books for all age groups. It has been located separately on the campus to facilitate a quiet atmosphere for peaceful reading and study.

Special experiential learning environments have been created for understanding the concepts of subjects like mathematics and science and also social studies and languages. The Library is available to the students six days a week.
Internet facility is also available. The Library has a “Book Bank” consisting of core texts books, which are issued to deserving students for the whole academic year. There is also a collection of audio-visual materials like maps, atlases, compact discs and audio-cassettes. The library has comfortable Reading Rooms. It extends its current awareness services by providing newspapers/ magazines

Different types of entertainment books and newspapers to update on news and happenings and also to create an awareness of current events.


Sporting facilities have been planned with exacting attention to details. These include gymnastics and athletics.
The indoor games complex includes the latest Gym. equipment, tennis etc.

IT Centers

There are a computer lab in the college many computers and Internet facilities for the students and teachers. This labs are also equipped with teaching aids such as LCD Projectors and Scanners, slide projector and over head projector. The College wants all its students to be conversant with modern learning aids. All the computers in the centers are provided with the latest updated software and hardware. Internet, printing and scanning facilities are also available through network. The centers are also available for the students for accessing internet, practice and for preparation of their projects.

Identity Card

Every student of the College will be provided with an Identity Card after their admission has been confirmed. This Card should always remain in her possession and should be produced as and when asked for. In case of its loss, the student will be required to get a duplicate one by making a payment of Rs50/- and furnishing a copy of their photograph.

Fee Concession

Fee Concession is granted to very needy and deserving students. Application for fee concession, on the prescribed must be submitted to the office on the dates announced for the purpose.

Health & Physical

Health and Physical education has once again evolved to connect body movement. The education community subsequently adopted Wood’s inclusive approach to physical education whereby fundamental movements and physical skills for games and sports were incorporated as the major instructional content. Healthy mind live in healthy body so fitness is necessary for one and all. The main goal of physical education has been developing student’s cognitive capacity in the sense of learning knowledge in academic disciplines. Physical education as part of education provides the only opportunity for all students to learn about physical movement and engage in physical activity.
